Gandhi - our adhesive

Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this walked the earth in flesh and blood.”

जैसा गाँधी ने कहा था - When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it - always.

How true are your views. I also feel ultimately one has to do deeds one is not shameful of and can admit having done before the world at large. If we adopt this in our actions, half our problems would be over. I think Gandhiji too followed this law very succesfully and his life was an open book. One also needs to learn the lesson that one should have the courage to admit ones mistake

Thanks Rakesh Ji for visiting and for your views.
Gandhi did some things which he was ashamed of but the fact that he accepted it truthfully made him different from you and me.

The times when Gandhiji pulled the country out of the British mess can in no way be compared with the present day rat race.
Today if anyone attempts of serving with a selfless motive, he is at first questioned about the intentions.
Thanks to our sugar coated, yet extremely bitter netas.
The faith that Gandhiji built has perished long back.
Our chilren are already learning essays on Mayawati.
The day is not far when likes of Shiboo Soren will lecture us on moral education (from Red Fort on 15th Aug). That will be a real earthquake.

Yes, Abhilasha. Sad..but true. We need to stop and think long and hard as to where are we going. Something needs to be done.
