Oye Lucky

Oye Lucky is a delightful slice of Delhi life on celluloid. The vigenettes and caricatures are flaw-less, as were in Dibakar Banerjee’s last film – Khosla Ka Ghosla. It seems like a hilarious documentary, if there is such a genre, that is.
Regretfully, however, it remains just that - a documentary, refusing to take off as a story. And thus, in spite of excellent acting efforts by Paresh Rawal, Abhay Deol and all other actors, it remains a little lower than the perfect 10 mark. Still, a sure not-to-be-missed.
